My name is Shari Landa, and I am the owner of Oh My Landa. I am also a devoted mother and wife who embarked on the journey of establishing my own business because I believed I could assist others in achieving success.
With more than 15 years of experience in local marketing and business development, as well as over 8 years of experience working with websites, I am certain that I can aid in the growth of your business.
My Story
How it all started…
I have been an entrepreneur since the age of 12; therefore, I understand the ins and out of the administrative and marketing work that goes into a small business. With my little babysitting business, which was started back in 1997, I marketed myself using homemade magnet business cards and handed them out around my town. I even went to a technology camp at age 14 to learn website design to create a site for my business. As a result, Shari’s Little Feet was booked out months in advance.
Most of the experience I use today comes from the job I worked at after graduating from college. I spent 10 years working at Subway Development, where I started as a part-time admin and ended as the Local Market Strategist, Growth Coordinator & Event Coordinator.
During this time, I also worked at a second company where I became the Executive Assistant to the President & CEO and the Marketing Manager.
Yes. I worked TWO full-time jobs.
BUT WAIT. That wasn’t enough for me.
In 2017, after having our first son, I was determined to find a way to stay at home with him. So I created my company (then, The Virtual Savant and now Oh My Landa), where I did exactly the same thing as I did for SUBWAY®… but for small businesses.
How It’s Going
Fast forward to 2020 where my SUBWAY® world came crashing down (with millions of others). It was soul-crushing as I really enjoyed my job. I now had two little boys and a husband who was in the process of finishing his Ph.D. SO WHAT WAS I TO DO NOW?
It was time. Time to see where Oh My Landa could take me. BEST. CAREER. CHANGE. EVER.
